Nakamoto

2025 — Present

VP of Investor Relations

I lead investor relations for Nakamoto, the parent company of BTC Inc. and UTXO Management.

BTC Inc. is the world’s largest Bitcoin media company, operating the Bitcoin Conference and Bitcoin Magazine. I have led investor relations through Nakamoto’s transition to a public company and its subsequent acquisitions of BTC Inc. and UTXO Management.

Swan Bitcoin

Previously

Head of Private Wealth

I built and led Swan’s Private Wealth team from inception, growing it into a concierge wealth service helping clients allocate billions of dollars to Bitcoin.

The goal behind Swan Private was to give high-net-worth individuals direct access to knowledgeable Bitcoin experts to guide them through the investment process.

At the time, virtually no companies served this niche. I built Swan Private into one of the first and most prominent services of its kind in the Bitcoin industry.

$4B+

Our team helped clients allocate over $4 billion into Bitcoin during my time leading it.

Walking

Over 10 miles a day.
For over five years.

All topics

A life with regular movement is different from a sedentary life punctuated by exercise.

Weightlifting develops strength. Walking raises the baseline of movement across the day, creating room for clearer thought and a different relationship with the body.

The sustainable approach is to weave it into ordinary activity: phone calls, podcasts, music, even pacing at home. Movement becomes part of how life happens. The opportunity is much larger than finding another hour for the gym.

Circadian
health

All topics

Human beings are circadian. Light helps organize the daily rhythm of alertness, sleep, activity, and rest.

Artificial lighting lets us extend the day long past sunset. Our biology still responds to light and dark. Living under bright lights until bedtime erases an environmental cue to downshift.

The practical foundation is simple: outdoor daylight in the morning, dim lighting in the evening, and darkness for sleep. Dim red lights can help create that evening transition. A day needs room for both energy and restoration.

Jhana
meditation

All topics

Joy is a capacity within consciousness. Jhana meditation offers a way to access it directly.

These states can open a wellspring of bodily ease, connection, and deeply restorative experience. They reveal the possibility of relating to something within ourselves that is not organized around suffering.

The significance extends beyond meditation: wellbeing need not depend entirely on arranging the outside world. There are internal capacities for fulfillment that many people have never learned to access.

Direct
experience

All topics

Access to the inner world depends on knowing where to look, and how to direct attention.

Attention is a faculty that can be developed. Its movements can bring previously unfamiliar dimensions of experience into contact: joy, connection, and a felt relationship with Being.

Being names the essential reality shared by all things, encountered most immediately within experience. The difficulty is often one of access. A culture can accumulate extraordinary knowledge while leaving people unfamiliar with the most immediate reality of their own existence.

The modern
age

All topics

Material abundance can coexist with spiritual and existential impoverishment.

Capitalism and technological progress have created extraordinary prosperity. Understanding that achievement should deepen our appreciation of it. Prosperity alone, however, cannot tell people where to find meaning or how to inhabit their own experience.

A society can become highly capable at producing what people want while neglecting the capacities through which life feels worth living. Gratitude for abundance and attention to this inner poverty belong together.

Technology
& AI

All topics

We are in the middle period of a technological civilization: transformed by its powers, still far from realizing their full benefits.

Digital life has altered attention, relationships, and the environments our bodies inhabit. Many of the disruptions are already here; breakthroughs in disease, material abundance, and human possibility remain ahead.

AI makes the next period especially promising. Its potential reaches beyond automating existing work to accelerating discovery and solving problems that have constrained human life. Today’s costs deserve attention, but they need not define the destination.

Money &
investing

All topics

Money makes complex cooperation possible at a scale no individual could organize.

It connects work, resources, and human needs across society. Understanding money is essential to understanding modern prosperity, yet attention goes overwhelmingly toward earning and spending it.

High income alone does not establish lasting wealth. Consistent saving and investment turn earnings into ownership of assets and participation in economic growth.

Bitcoin and direct ownership

Bitcoin introduces a monetary asset with constrained issuance that can be held directly and transferred on an open network. Its value proposition combines monetary scarcity with ownership independent of any particular corporation. In a financial world built on layers of intermediaries, that is a consequential possibility.
